La lavadora se ha convertido en la primera del mundo en obtener cinco estrellas en la clasificación de lavado en el Australian Standard Tests, un estudio realizado por científicos de Melbourne.
La tecnología de nueva generación que ha permitido a Indesit Company conseguir la máxima puntuación en los estrictos tests ha sido el Sistema SuperEco, que ofrece un ahorro extra de energía de al menos el 10% con respecto a la clasificación A+ dependiendo del ciclo seleccionado.

La función Carga Mini para el lavado diario también ha sido tenida en cuenta ya que hace posible conseguir excelentes resultados de lavado incluso con pequeñas cargas, ahorrando hasta un 25% de agua y un 40% de energía.

Diseñada por Makio Hasuike, Aqualtis es la primera lavadora de tamaño estándar que ofrece las prestaciones de un modelo de gran tamaño (hasta 7.5 kg) manteniendo el respeto por el medioambiente gracias a su clase A+ de energía.

La campaña de publicidad que apoyó el lanzamiento de la Aqualtis también ha tenido un gran éxito, cosechando su spot en televisión Mundo bajo el agua varios premios internacionales entre los que destacan un León de Oro en el 53 Festival Internacional de Publicidad de Cannes, y un oro en el prestigioso Festival de New York-International Advertising Awards 2006.
