Electrolux y Sharp colaborarán en el desarrollo de nuevos electrodomésticos

Electrolux y Sharp han acordado desarrollar conjuntamente una nueva gama de frigoríficos No Frost. El proyecto es sólo una parte de una colaboración estratégica de mayor alcance en el campo de los electrodomésticos.
Esta primera colaboración en el área de frío comenzó el pasado año e implica el intercambio de información entre ambas empresas, de know-how y de sus investigaciones sobre el consumidor. En lo que respecta al desarrollo técnico del producto, ambas compañías han creado una estructura para compartir las tareas de planificación de producto, producción y asesoramiento.

Este primer proyecto fructificará en el desarrollo de seis frigoríficos diferentes, respetuosos con el medio ambiente y con la tecnología No Frost. Electrolux y Sharp mantendrán su propia imagen de marca, marketing y diseño diferenciados en la nueva gama de producto, que será producida en la fábrica de Sharp en Tailandia y lanzada en otoño de 2006.

Sólo un primer paso

Este proyecto es sólo un primer paso de lo que pretende ser una colaboración estratégica más amplia, nacida con el objetivo de mejorar la competitividad global de ambas compañías. Entre la finalidad que persiguen está también la de lanzar productos novedosos de manera más rápida y reducir costes.
