Ingvar Kamprad, fundador de Ikea, falleció el pasado domingo en su casa de Småland (Suecia).

30.01.2018 Según el comunicado publicado en la página web de la multinacional sueca, Ingvar Kamprad, fundador de Ikea e Ikano, falleció el pasado 27 de enero. Su muerte se produjo a los 91  años de edad y a causa de una corta enfermedad.


Ingvar Kamprad nació en 1926, y fundó Ikea con 17 años. Esta empresa se convertiría en su gran proyecto vital y, según la firma, se basó en su visión de crear un mejor día a día para la mayoría de las personas.

Emprendedor desde la adolescencia

El comunicado define a Ingvar Kamprad como un gran emprendedor, característico del sur de Suecia, un hombre trabajador y tenaz, con una gran calidez y una constante chispa en su mirada. Aunque en 1988 dejó de desempeñar una función operativa, Kamprad estuvo trabajando hasta el final de sus días como asesor sénior del gigante del mueble, pues afirmaba que la mayoría de las cosas están aún por hacer.
