Ayer tuvo lugar en el restaurante Enigma de Barcelona, la presentación del libro editado por Neolith, Enigma. Decodificando el mundo secreto de Albert Adrià. Además del chef, y del equipo de Neolith, en la presentación estuvieron Rafael Aranda del estudio RCR Arquitectes, encargado del proyecto del restaurante, y la autora de libro, Cristina Giménez.

14.11.2017 El restaurante barcelonés Enigma, del chef Albert Adrià, hermano de Ferran Adrià, es un espacio singular. Diseñado por el estudio de arquitectura de la Ciudad Condal, RCR Arquitectes, premiado con un prestigioso Pritzker (los Óscars de la arquitectura) ha supuesto también un reto para Neolith, ya que sus superficies, completamente personalizadas para este proyecto, contribuyen a recrear la peculiar atmósfera de este lugar.

Enigma: el libro

El libro presentado ayer por Neolith, Rafael Aranda, de RCR Arquitectes, y el propio Albert Adrià, pretende dar a conocer la colaboración entre los equipos de RCR, Enigma y Neolith, centrándose en la belleza del espacio, de unos 700 metros cuadrados, y que se ha materializado en la realización del proyecto del restaurante Enigma.

Como explicó ayer Albert Adrià, el punto de partida clave de toda la obra fueron unas acuarelas realizadas por RCR que, gracias a Neolith, han podido tomar cuerpo en el interior del edificio en revestimientos y suelos personalizados realizados con la piedra sinterizada de la firma de Castellón.

Los equipos de las tres partes implicadas coindiden en señalar Enigma como un reto, como un salto hacia el vacío en el que todos han aportado ilusión y ganas para ese ir más allá que diferencia la arquitectura de este espacio, bien original y que en nada se parece a lo que ya existe. Se trata de una filosodía que está en línea con la propia cocina de autor de Albert Adrià, la de conseguir sorprender con propuestas gastronómicas diferentes y originales.

Un reto para Neolith

Andreas Manero, del equipo de marketing de Neolith, señaló lo difícil que es para un fabricante realizar un proyecto como este, tan alejado de lo que es la producción industrial en línea, ya que se ha tratado de un trabajo artesanal y que les ha servido para aprender y ser capaces de ver hasta dónde podían llegar a nivel fabril, logístico, de timing y de control de calidad. En este sentido, dijo Manero, el libro presentado ayer en Barcelona supone un colofón muy bonito al proyecto de Enigma.

Mar Esteve, Directora de Marketing de Neolith, tuvo palabras de agradecimiento para RCR Arquitectes, por haber depositado sus confianza en ellos, además de para Albert Adrià y para todo el equipo de Neolith, por haber dado el 200% en el proyecto.
