Formica edita el libro Arquitexturas

Formica ha editado el libro Arquitexturas Expo Zaragoza, que muestra un recorrido arquitectónico por algunos de los edificios más relevantes de la reciente Exposición Internacional celebrada en Zaragoza.

Ocho son los edificios analizados por los autores: el Pabellón-Puente (Zaha Hadid), el Palacio de Congresos (Nieto y Sobejano),  Torre del Agua (Enrique de Teresa),  Pabellón de Aragón (Daniel Olano y Alberto Mendo), Pabellón de España (Patxi Mangado), Pabellón Agua Extrema (Franc Aleu), Pabellón el Faro (Ricardo Higueras) y Pabellón de la Sed (Enric Ruiz-Gelli).

Este conjunto de edificios son, en palabras de Capella y Úbeda, un enorme muestrario de nuevos materiales, de diferentes estilos creativos, condensados en pocas hectáreas, y una oportunidad más para ver la evolución de la arquitectura más atrevida del planeta y cómo los criterios medioambientales y el ecodiseño van empapando el sector de la construcción.

Las sugerentes imágenes artísticas captadas por Iglesias y las reflexiones de Capella y Úbeda tienen la virtud de mostrar los edificios desde su apariencia urbana hasta la textura que se puede apreciar a pie de calle, de la gran escala al detalle de la epidermis de cada proyecto.

Arquitexturas Expo Zaragoza es la cuarta referencia -las anteriores fueron dedicadas a Bilbao, Valencia y Madrid- de una serie que tiene como objetivo abordar desde un punto de vista arquitectónico distintas ciudades y sus edificios más característicos. Con esta iniciativa, Formica reafirma una vez más su apuesta por la creación de calidad asociada al campo de la arquitectura y el diseño.
