Cosentino, con la Semana de la Arquitectura de Madrid 2017

Del 29 de septiembre al 8 de octubre, Madrid se convierte en la cuna de la arquitectura con esta iniciativa que organizan el Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid y la Fundación Arquitectura COAM, en colaboración con el Ayuntamiento de Madrid. Durante estos días, el Cosentino City Madrid (Paseo de la Castellana, 116) será una de las visitas programadas.

29.09.2107 Cosentino colabora con la decimocuarta edición de la Semana de la Arquitectura de Madrid. Del 29 de septiembre al 8 de octubre, la capital de España se convierte en la cuna de la arquitectura con esta iniciativa que organizan el Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid y la Fundación Arquitectura COAM, en colaboración con el Ayuntamiento de Madrid. París es la ciudad invitada en esta ocasión, el distintivo de la Semana de la Arquitectura 2017 es Madrid-París/París-Madrid.

Con el objetivo primordial de difundir los valores de la arquitectura y el urbanismo y acercarlos a la sociedad, la ciudad madrileña acoge durante estos días diferentes exposiciones, actos, conferencias, visitas a edificios de reconocido valor arquitectónico e histórico, y diversas actividades dirigidas a adultos y niños.

En el cartel de acciones de esta semana grande de la arquitectura juega un papel importantísimo el Cosentino City Madrid, ubicado en Paseo de la Castellana, 116. Con el título Conoce Cosentino, durante los días 28 y 29 de septiembre, y 4, 6 y 7 de octubre se organizan visitas a este espacio expositivo para aportar una visión global de la compañía y conocer la amplia oferta de materiales y soluciones que Cosentino ofrece al sector de la arquitectura y el diseño.

Dentro del programa organizado, el día 5 de octubre tendrá lugar el acto de entrega de los Premios COAM y los Premios Luis Moreno Mansilla con el fin de reconocer la calidad de la obra arquitectónica, la buena práctica profesional y las iniciativas ejemplares que hayan contribuido a la difusión de los valores culturales de la arquitectura. Cosentino ha elaborado para esta ocasión las estatuillas que recogerán los galardonados en mármol Blanco Macael, Marrón Emperador y Nazarí. Uno de los Premios COAM 2017 recae este año en el libro La vivienda de lujo en Madrid desde 1900, escrito por el arquitecto Daniel Rincón de la Vega y patrocinado por Cosentino. El acto tendrá lugar a las 20 horas en el salón de actos del COAM.

En los últimos años Cosentino ha participado activamente en otras citas clave de ámbito internacional como la Bienal de Arquitectura de Venecia, la Bienal Española de Arquitectura y Urbanismo (BEAU), la Bienal Iberoamericana de Diseño (BID), la Expo Milano u Open House Madrid. Asimismo, colabora con numerosas iniciativas como la Fundación Arquitectura y Sociedad, la Fundación Arquitectura Contemporánea, la Agencia Documental de Arquitectura Scalae, el proyecto I+D+Art o con las organizaciones FAD y Arquin-Fad. Reconocidas han sido sus colaboraciones con arquitectos de gran prestigio como Fermín Vázquez, Daniel Libeskind, Italo Rota, Antonio Citterio y Patricia Viel, entre otros.
